When you live in Southern Louisiana you’re really surrounded by water. With so much water around, there are boats everywhere! Some of my travels to photograph them led me to an area particularly effected by Hurricane Katrina. Those boats needed to be photographed even more than the ones that will still float.  ***NOTE; The image of the cross in the water is actually a Hurricane Katrina memorial. Near the cross (on shore) stands a plaque listing all the names of the people lost to that storm. The memorial is located in the ‘Hopedale’, ‘Shellbeach’ area.
